THE AMOUNTS BELONG TO OLD STUDIES

Sermorelin Dosage: What Did Studies Use?

Each amount belonged to one study group. It isn't your care plan.

Why aren’t these amounts directions?

This page reports Sermorelin dosage from studies. It isn't a guide for taking the drug. Each amount belonged to the people in one study. None is an amount chosen for you.

Sermorelin left the blood fast in a vein test. Half was gone in about 10-12 minutes [4]. The hormone level remained high about 3 hours.

A shot under the skin worked much better than the nose. Only about 3-5% entered through the nose [4]. Most studies therefore used a shot.

Pills and drops have even less proof. Your doctor must weigh your health. You can't turn any study amount into your own plan.

Which Sermorelin dosage belonged to each group?

Each study asked its own question. You can't compare its Sermorelin dosage as if the groups were alike. None of these amounts is a personal direction.

The children's study used 30 micrograms per kilogram per day. A microgram is one-millionth of a gram, and the amount rose with each child's body weight. The shot went under the skin at bedtime.

Older men received two study amounts under the skin. The higher one was 1 milligram, and a milligram is one-thousandth of a gram. They received sermorelin twice daily for 14 days. Growth hormone and the IGF-1 growth blood test rose as the amount rose [3].

In other healthy men, small amounts entered a vein and raised growth hormone [4]. Doctors also once used about 1 microgram per kilogram in a vein. That test showed how well the growth gland could answer. You'll need a doctor to choose care for your body.

Pulsatile GH release: sermorelin works with the natural pulse pattern rather than replacing it.

How fast did Sermorelin leave the blood?

Sermorelin came and went quickly. About half cleared after 10-12 minutes in a vein test [4]. The higher hormone level lasted around 3 hours. The blood amount rose, then fell again; the rise and fall match your body's usual timing [6].

Many studies used bedtime. Your biggest daily growth-hormone rise comes during deep sleep. Researchers matched their work to that time. The quick clearing led to related drugs that last longer.

Some were changed so a blood protein would carry them. Those drugs aren't sermorelin. Your doctor still has to weigh your needs. You won't know your clearing time without medical care.

How were Sermorelin shots studied and prescribed?

The sermorelin injection — given subcutaneously, into the fat just under the skin — is the route nearly every human study used, because it is where GHRH(1-29) actually gets absorbed [3][4]. In research settings, lyophilized (freeze-dried) sermorelin acetate powder is reconstituted with sterile diluent and then kept refrigerated, because peptides dissolved in water break down over time. Compounded preparations are made under USP <797> sterile-compounding standards. None of this is an instruction to self-inject; it is a description of how the studied material was handled and delivered.

One more plain fact about access. For U.S. patient care, the injectable form of sermorelin needs a clinician's prescription before a pharmacy prepares it. At mypromise.com, Promise Peptides has begun prescribing sermorelin as prescription-only care; a licensed U.S. clinician checks each person's request and can turn it down. The person's state and requested treatment narrow the options, and only U.S. patients can be seen. FDA has not approved the compounded preparation.

Do Sermorelin tablets have proof?

Sermorelin tablets, capsules, mouth lozenges, and drops are sold. Your stomach breaks short protein chains apart. Little can pass through the lining of your mouth. Researchers therefore doubt that these forms work like shots.

The nose study also showed poor entry. Only about 3-5% entered through the nose [4]. No fair test found that a swallowed tablet raised growth hormone like a shot. Words on a label can't replace that missing test; you can't assume a pill works because it is sold.

Which way of taking Sermorelin was tested most?

Researchers tried three ways to give sermorelin. Most studies used a shot under the skin. That way raised growth hormone and the IGF-1 growth blood test [3]. Other tests put very small amounts into a vein [4].

The nose was also tested years ago. Only 3-5% of the drug entered that way [4]. So shots hold most of the useful human proof. The way a drug enters still can't predict your result; you'll still need your doctor to weigh the route.
